Small habits that make Cosas faster.

Cosas is simple on purpose, but a few gestures make saving and finding even quicker.

  1. Put Cosas first in the share sheet

Cosas is in the share sheet of every app. To reach it faster on iPhone and iPad, scroll the row of apps to the end, tap More, then Edit, and add Cosas to your Favorites.

On the Mac, Cosas is in the Share menu of Safari, Photos and Finder.

  2. Share several photos at once

Select a few photos and share them together. Cosas keeps them as one thing, stacked like prints, and you swipe through them in its detail. On the Mac, use the arrows.

Links are always saved one by one.

  3. Find a screenshot by what it says

Cosas reads the text in your screenshots on your device. Search for any word you remember from one, like a gate number, a price or a name.

Tap a tag in an item’s detail to see everything with that tag.

  4. Go straight to a day

Tap the calendar at the top of Home and pick a day; only days with something saved can be picked. Then use ‹ and › to step to the previous or next day with something.

    On the Mac: ⌘ ← and ⌘ →.

  5. Show only one kind of thing

The filter at the top of Home shows only web pages, screenshots, apps, recipes or any other type you have. Below the types are the colors you’ve used.

On the Mac, types and colors are in the sidebar, with their counts.

  6. Fix a topic or a tag

Apple Intelligence gets most things right, not all. In an item’s detail, tap Edit next to Topic to pick another topic, or to add and remove tags. Cosas never changes what you set.

Tags are saved in lowercase, so the same word never shows up twice.

  7. Group things with colors

Touch and hold a card, or Control-click it on the Mac, and choose one of six colors. Choose the same color again to remove it.

To color several at once on iPhone, tap Select in Home.

  8. Archive what you’re done with

Read it? Archive it from the card’s menu or the item’s detail. It leaves Home, topics and search, and waits in the Archive until you unarchive it.

    On the Mac: ⌃ ⌘ A.

  9. Get the gist of a long page

Open a saved web page or recipe and tap Summarize. Apple Intelligence writes one sentence and the key points, on your device, in the page’s language.

Summaries need a device with Apple Intelligence.

  10. Open the original

Tap a link’s cover, or the line under its title, to open it in the app that handles it, like YouTube or the App Store, or else in Safari.

  11. See an image full size

Tap a photo or screenshot in its detail to open it full screen. On the Mac, click it or press the Space bar.

  12. Get back something you deleted

Deleted things wait 30 days in Recently Deleted: on iPhone, the trash button at the top of Archive; on the Mac, a row in the sidebar. Recover puts them back where they were.

On the Mac, delete with ⌘ ⌫.

  13. Choose what Cosas does for you

In Settings, you can turn off Classify with Apple Intelligence or Read Text in Screenshots. What’s already sorted or read stays. Turn them back on and Cosas catches up with what you saved meanwhile.
