Who we are
Cosas: Save Anything (“Cosas”) is made by Adrián Peña, an independent developer (“we”). You can reach us at support@cosasapp.dev.
What we collect
Nothing. Cosas has no account, no servers of its own, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We don’t receive what you save, how you use the app, or anything that identifies you. The app contains no third-party analytics or advertising code.
Where your library is kept
Everything you save (links, photos, screenshots, text) and everything Cosas adds to it (titles, covers, topics, tags, summaries and the text read from screenshots) is stored by the app on your device.
iCloud
If you’re signed in to iCloud, Cosas keeps your library in sync between your devices through your private iCloud database. Apple stores that copy under your Apple Account, as described in Apple’s Privacy Policy; we have no access to it.
Without iCloud, your library stays only on the device. Signing out of iCloud doesn’t delete anything.
Apple Intelligence and on-device processing
Topics, tags and summaries are written by Apple’s language model on your device. The text in screenshots is read with Apple’s text recognition, also on your device. None of this sends your things to us or to anyone else.
When Cosas connects to the internet
Besides iCloud, Cosas only goes online to complete the links you save:
- Web pages. To show a link’s title, description and cover, Cosas asks that website for the page, and downloads the cover image from the address the page gives. If you ask for a summary, it reads the page’s text the same way. When a page can’t be read directly, Apple’s link preview service on your device fetches it instead.
- App Store links. Cosas asks Apple’s public lookup service for the app’s name, icon and developer, sending the app’s identifier and your region.
- Reddit posts. Cosas reads the post from Reddit’s public feed and preview services.
These requests go straight from your device to those sites, as your browser’s would. Like any visit, they see your IP address and your device’s language, which Cosas sends so that pages come in your language. Cosas doesn’t keep or send cookies with these requests, and sends nothing else from your library.
Opening links
When you open a saved link, it opens in Safari or in the app that handles it, under that app’s own privacy policy.
Sharing your information
We don’t share or sell anything, because we don’t have anything.
Children
Cosas doesn’t collect information from anyone, including children.
Your control
- You can edit or delete anything in the app. Deleted things stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days, then they’re deleted for good, also from iCloud.
- Deleting the app removes its data from that device.
- To remove the copy in iCloud, delete Cosas’s data from your iCloud storage settings. This also empties the library on all your devices.
This website
This website doesn’t use cookies, analytics or content from other sites.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
